Third Class have been exploring how to create and extend patterns in 2D shapes. They have also been working on creating symmetry using pegs. The past two weeks, we have been investigating the properties of 3D shapes. The children made excellent 3D shapes by cutting and folding nets. They also constructed 3D shapes using playdough and match sticks! We went on 2D and 3D shape hunts and found lots of shapes around our school!
Mission Statement.
Our school embodies Christian, Catholic values which emphasises compassion, care, good work ethos, striving for excellence and respect for all, irrespective of race, religion or social status.Meta

2Thanks to Carlow Athletics for organising a wonderful Primary School Relay event. In glorious April sunshine the boys and girls of St Fiacc's did themselves proud winning the overall Division 1 cup. #carlowathletics #carlowprimaryschoolrelays2025
