Fourth class have been enjoying using iPads to research Halloween in other countries during our Geography lesson!
Room 10 have had a lovely week. It was fun making St. Brigid’s crosses, meeting grandparents and thinking about and designing posters for how we can look after the earth.

During science week we were learning about materials. We discussed and described both manmade and natural materials and we explored the materials in our environment. It was a great week!

Room 10 had a wonderful time on their school tour to Castlecomer Discovery Park. We did archery, water ecology, walked around the forest and went to the playground! It was a wonderful day out!

During Engineer’s Week, room 10 focused on how to build sustainable towns. We discussed climate change and global warming. We discussed how we can do better. Together in small groups we became engineers and designed a town for the future. more »
